PHOTOGRAPHY

If you’ve followed me for a while, you already know: photographing baby Highland cows has been at the top of my dream list. As a Murfreesboro TN Photographer, there’s just something about their shaggy hair and gentle eyes that makes your heart melt. When I finally got the chance to photograph two fluffy calves—Chocolate Chip and Pancake—they absolutely lived up to the hype.
We met at Pasture to Pastry Farm in Murfreesboro, TN, and even though it was blazing hot (think: let’s-wrap-this-up-quick kind of hot), the magic still happened. As someone passionate about photography in Murfreesboro TN, being a photographer at this farm is always a memorable experience.
We kept the session short, but these Highland calves made every second count. Once they settled in, they were total naturals—especially Pancake, who kept nuzzling her way into the sweetest moments. Her calm personality made the whole thing even more magical. Working as a photographer serving Murfreesboro, TN, I always cherish capturing these kinds of sweet moments.
And just when I thought the cuteness had peaked, a chicken decided to join in. She wandered into a few frames like she knew exactly what she was doing, and I wasn’t mad about it. There are always surprises for a Murfreesboro TN Photographer at these sessions!
Watching the little one light up while petting the cows and chickens reminded me exactly why I do this work. These aren’t just photos—they’re tiny time capsules of joy. Real, unfiltered, animal-loving, childhood-magic joy. As a dedicated Murfreesboro TN Photographer, I love preserving these joyful memories for families.
Here’s something I didn’t see coming—Highland cows love marshmallows. Apparently, these two are totally bribe-able with sweet treats, and it made for some hilarious (and heart-melting) moments. Pancake and Chocolate Chip now have a new fan club—and I might be president. As a photographer based in Murfreesboro, TN, moments like these with animals and treats always make my job extra fun.
