It’s wild how quickly seasons change—one day you’re in college, and the next, you’re photographing someone else’s college student. As a Murfreesboro Family Photographer, I didn’t know this family before their session, but I’m so grateful I do now.

We met at Fortress Rosecrans in Murfreesboro, TN, one of those quiet, open spaces that always delivers soft light and the perfect backdrop for relaxed family portraits. Their oldest is now in college at MTSU, studying to become a teacher, and their youngest is in high school. Both brought such joy and heart to the session—and the kind of natural connection that makes family photos feel easy.
